The Tec-9 is a weapon in the Submachine Guns class featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The design of the Tec-9 in GTA San Andreas is based on a real life TEC-9.
This weapon also appears in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Vice City.
Tec-9 Description:
Having a very fast rate of fire and very small dimensions, the Tec-9 is widely appreciated on the streets of Los Santos.
This weapon has three Skill Levels you can progress through: Poor, Gangster and Hitman. Reaching the Hitman level with the Tec-9 allows you to Dual Wield, effectively doubling firepower, increases the lock-on range, and allows you to fire while moving.
How to get the Tec-9 in GTA San Andreas:
The Tec-9 can be purchased from Ammu-Nation for a price of $300 (or 20% higher in Las Venturas).
It becomes available after completing the mission Doberman in Story Mode.
The Tec-9 can be found and picked up around the San Andreas map (see the spawn locations in the "Appearances" section below).
The Tec-9 also Spawns at Johnson House after completing 100 Gang Tags.
