GTA San Andreas Properties Guide: Assets & Safehouses

GTA San Andreas Properties Guide: Assets & Safehouses

On this page you find a guide to all Properties in GTA San Andreas, including the full list of Safehouses and Assets you can buy in the game, as well as in GTA San Andreas: The Definitive Edition.

Just like in Vice City, in GTA San Andreas you can acquire two types of properties: Safehouses, which provide save points, vehicle storage, and also wardrobe; and Assets, profitable Businesses that generate income for CJ.

There is a record number of 45 properties available in GTA San Andreas. You can buy properties by walking into the green floating icon that appears in front of all purchasable properties. Buying all Safehouses and Assets is required for 100% completion of the game.

Clicking on a property below brings you to their detailed information such as map locations, prices, benefits, garage capacity, how to unlock each GTA San Andreas property, and more.

GTA San Andreas Properties: Assets List

Below you find all the Assets Properties available in GTA San Andreas and in the Definitive Edition of the game, with their locations and prices.

Assets are profitable Businesses that you can obtain. After acquiring an Asset and completing its related Asset Missions, the property will generate daily income that CJ can collect by walking into the dollar pick-up icon outside of the business.

There is a total of 10 assets in GTA San Andreas, but unlike Vice City, most assets are unlocked automatically (for free) after completing certain Story Missions. Only three assets must be purchased for a price.

Also differently from GTA Vice City, acquiring assets in GTA San Andreas is not necessary for story progression (with the exception of the Verdant Meadows Airfield), but it's still required for 100% completion.

Note: The Johnson House and the Verdant Meadows Airfield double up as both an Asset and a Safehouse.

GTA San Andreas Properties: Safehouses List

Below you find all the Safehouses available in GTA San Andreas and in the Definitive Edition of the game, with their locations and prices.

GTA San Andreas features a record total of 37 safehouses that can be acquired by CJ, including Apartments, Cabins, Beach Houses and Hotel Suites.

There are 8 basic save points unlocked automatically as you progress through the story, which only allow you to save progress (the Johnson House also has a wardrobe); and 29 purchasable properties that also come with a wardrobe to change clothes.

Not all safe houses can be purchased right away: they become available as you progress through the various areas of San Andreas by completing story missions.

The properties that you can buy are marked with a green house icon on the map (GTA San Andreas Property Icon), and with a floppy disk icon ( GTA San Andreas Save Point Icon ) after obtaining them. Some safe houses also give you the ability to store vehicles inside garages.
