This weapon also appears in Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto IV, GTA Vice City and Grand Theft Auto III.

The Sniper Rifle holds a scope that turns every shot into a deadly bolt, being capable of one-shotting unsuspecting enemies. Its reload speed is a bit slower than the ordinary Rifle, but the wait is for sure worth it.
How to get the Sniper Rifle in GTA San Andreas:
The Sniper Rifle can be purchased from Ammu-Nation for a price of $5,000 (or 20% higher in Las Venturas).
It becomes available after completing the mission Pier 69 in Story Mode.
The Sniper Rifle can be found and picked up around the San Andreas map (see the spawn locations in the "Appearances" section below).
The Sniper Rifle also Spawns at Doherty Garage after completing 50 Snapshots.
