On this page, you find all the Radio Stations in GTA Vice City, with the complete list of all songs featured in the original game, as well as in GTA Vice City: The Definitive Edition.

The iconic soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which is set in 1986, is composed of several Radio stations that the player can choose from while in a vehicle. The radio stations play a mixture of music, DJ-ing, and commercials.

The bulk of the soundtrack consists of contemporary 1980s songs, but also includes music from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.

In total, there are 9 radio stations in GTA Vice City, plus a custom one modifiable by the player - for a total of 103 songs. However, a number of songs were removed from the versions of the game released after 2012, as well as "The Definitive Edition", due to license expiration - they are marked on this page with [*].

MP3 Player / Tape Deck

Image: Vice City Public Radio

GTA Vice City allows players to play their songs in the PC, Xbox, and iOS ports of the game. This custom radio station is named "MP3 Player" in the PC port, "Tape" in the Xbox port, and "Tape Deck" in the iOS port.

"MP3 Player" only supports .ogg and .mp3 music formats (as well as shortcuts to those types of files). Tracks are played in alphabetical order according to their file names and cannot be skipped. Inserting custom music into "MP3 Player" consists simply of placing music files into the "mp3" folder located within the primary game folder (i.e. Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\mp3). For the Xbox version, a CD must be installed into the console's hard drive.

[*] = Removed from all versions of the game launched after 2014 (including "The Definitive Edition"), due to license expiration.
