How many cheats can we expect in GTA 6?

While it's not easy to predict exactly how many GTA 6 cheat codes will be available on Xbox, we can make an estimation based on the number of cheats that were present in previous GTA games:

GTA 3 came with 23 cheat codes, with the ability to restore Health & Armor, get all weapons, remove the wanted level, spawn a tank, and a money cheat
GTA Vice City more than doubled the amount with almost 60 cheat codes, adding more vehicle spawns, peds cheats, and even the ability to swap character models
GTA San Andreas hit a record number with more than 90 cheats, adding a variety of crazy effects on top of the ones from previous games
GTA 4 greatly reduced the number, with only 16 basic cheat codes included, plus 15 added with The Episodes from Liberty City.
Finally, GTA 5 improved the selection, with a total of 34 cheats and new entries such as super jump, skyfall and explosive bullets. However, there was no money cheat in GTA 5.

Our hope is that GTA 6 continues the upward trend from GTA 5 and that we go back to having a wide selection of GTA 6 cheat codes to play with.

We can definitely expect the GTA 6 cheats for Xbox Series X|S to include the classic ones such as the ability to restore health & armor, getting weapons and ammo, removing wanted level, and spawning GTA 6 cars and vehicles.

It will be interesting to see whether there will be a GTA 6 money cheat or not, as Rockstar has included it in certain games but not in others. The same goes for the Invincibility cheat, which only lasted five minutes in GTA 5. We also hope to see a return of the ability to spawn a tank in GTA 6!

How To Enter GTA 6 Cheats for Xbox Series X|S

In previous games of the GTA series, we've seen two methods to enter cheat codes:

Controller Input: the standard method ever since classic GTA games has been quickly entering a button combination on the controller.
Cell Phone: this alternative method, introduced in GTA IV and returned in GTA 5, involves bringing up the in-game phone and dialing a specific phone number to activate a cheat.

We can definitely expect the Controller Input method to return for GTA 6 cheat codes on Xbox as well, and it's possible that the Cell Phone cheats will also be available.

As usual, the GTA 6 cheats on Xbox Series X|S will be entered at any time during general gameplay, and a "Cheat Activated" message will likely appear on the screen to confirm the activation of the effect.

It remains to be seen if it will possible to de-activate GTA VI cheats after entering them: in previous games, some cheats could be disabled by entering them a second time, but in some cases, the game had to be restarted to remove them.

It's also not confirmed whether you will be able to enter cheats during missions in GTA 6. This was possible during legacy games in the series, but in Grand Theft Auto V several cheats couldn't be enabled during missions.

Is there a GTA 6 Money Cheat on Xbox?

It will be interesting to see whether there will be a GTA 6 money cheat or not. It's a delicate type of cheat because it can take the fun out of the game if you already have money to buy everything.

Some GTA games featured an unlimited money cheat, others didn't: GTA San Andreas and GTA III featured money cheats that gave you $250,000, but this was not present in GTA Vice City or in GTA 5.

So we'll have to see if Rockstar decides to implement a money cheat for GTA 6.

Is there a GTA 6 Invincibility Cheat on Xbox?

The Invincibility Cheat is always one of the most requested for GTA games, as it's definitely fun to run around on a rampage while being completely immune to damage.

GTA 5 was the first game to introduce an invincibility cheat, but the effect only lasted for five minutes before you had to re-activate it.
