The historic GTA III features 23 cheat codes, including the ability to restore Health & Armor, get all weapons, remove your wanted level, spawn a tank, and there is also a GTA 3 Money Cheat. You can use the GTA 3 Definitive Edition cheats to simply mess around in Liberty City and have fun, or to get an extra edge in some missions.

How To Enter GTA 3 Cheats (PS5, PS4, PS3 & PS2)

Entering GTA 3 cheats for PS2, PS3, or in the Definitive Edition for PS4 & PS5 is easy: simply enter the button combinations on the controller for your desired cheat listed below, and a confirmation message will appear. You can enter cheats at any time during general gameplay, without needing to pause the game.

However, make sure to save the game before using cheats in GTA III: while you can de-activate some GTA 3 cheats by simply re-entering them, certain cheats cannot be disabled (such as Peds Riot & Attack) and will require you to load a previous save file.

Also, the PS4 & PS5 versions of the game have Trophies support, and using cheats on those versions will permanently disable Trophies on the current save file. If you care about achieving 100% Completion, make sure to keep a "clean" save file you can return to - because a save where you used cheats can't be trusted to behave correctly.
