Parachuting

Parachuting is a side activity available in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online, and is split into two categories: Base Jumps and Helicopter Jumps.

Parachute Jumps become available after completing Dom Beasley's Strangers and Freaks mission Risk Assessment. Each jump requires the player to parachute and land on a specific target. Some jumps require the player to move through checkpoints, and some don't.

Cash rewards are awarded to the player based on various factors, such as how close the player landed to the center of the target, and the number of checkpoints hit. Rewards decrease significantly after the first successful attempt.

Completing all Parachute Jumps is required for 100% Completion of the game: completing all Base Jumps counts as one hobby, while completing all Helicopter Jumps counts as a separate hobby.

This side activity is also present in GTA Online and Grand Theft Auto IV.

1. Bank Bailout

Location: Base of the Maze Bank Tower
Drive a Bati motorcycle off of the Maze Bank Tower, then parachute in a park in Burton.

2. What Goes Up…

Location: Mile High Club construction site
Parachute off of the crane onto the back of a Hauler with a flatbed trailer.

3. Falling Mouse

Location: Raton Canyon
Parachute through two checkpoints before reaching the target at the bottom of the canyon.

4. Aim for the Fairway

Location: South Mo Milton Drive, Eclipse Towers, West Vinewood
Parachute from the tower to the Los Santos Country Club golf course.

5. Razor Rock Dive

Location: Raton Canyon
Parachute through a series of checkpoints to the bottom of the Raton Canyon.

6. Pacific Tour

Location: Tackle Street, Puerto Del Sol, La Puerta
Jump out of a Maverick and land on the back of a Squalo.

7. Photo Finish

Location: Vinewood Racetrack
Parachute through a series of checkpoints and land on the Vinewood Racetrack.

8. Turbine Terror

Location: RON Alternates Wind Farm
Parachute through a series of checkpoints, avoiding turbine blades near the end of the descent.

9. The Decline

Location: Procopio Promenade
Parachute through a series of checkpoints over Mount Chiliad.

10. Runaway Train

Location: Raton Canyon
Parachute onto a train running along the tracks. Unavailable between Derailed and Hang Ten

11. Carving the Mountain

Location: Cassidy Creek
Parachute through a series of checkpoints to a target at the bottom of Raton Canyon.

12. The Fall of the Alamo

Location: Grapeseed
Parachute through a series of checkpoints to a target in Grapeseed.

13. Dammed If You Don't

Location: East Vinewood, corner of Mirror Park Blvd and Glory Way
Parachute through a series of checkpoints over the Land Act Reservoir and Dam before landing near the Vinewood Racetrack.
