Something Sensible (Ending A) is a main story mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Federal Investigation Bureau (FIB), involving protagonist Franklin Clinton.
This is one of the three possible final missions and endings of the storyline of Grand Theft Auto V.
Franklin has to make a choice.
WARNING: If you pick this ending, you will permanently lose access to Trevor from this point forward.
Gold Medal Objectives (100%)
The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "Something Sensible (Ending A)":
- Judas!: Killed Trevor.
Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.
Something Sensible (Ending A) - Mission Details:
This mission is triggered if Franklin chooses option A (Kill Trevor). According to further developments in GTA Online, this ending is confirmed to be non-canon.
When choosing this ending, it will no longer be possible to play as Trevor, and any Trevor activities will no longer be available.
At the end of Lamar Down, Franklin is approached by Haines and Dave to kill Trevor. Later on, after The Big Score, Devin visits Franklin at his house and tasks him with killing Michael. Once Devin leaves, Franklin has to make a choice, either:
- Kill Trevor (A)
- Kill Michael (B)
- Deathwish (C)
Franklin chooses to kill Trevor and gives him a call. Franklin tells Trevor they need to talk but somewhere quiet. Trevor recommends they meet at one of the empty lots off El Burro. On the journey over, Franklin calls Michael and lets him know what he's about to do. He asks for Michael help but he's hesitant and just says he'll see what he can do.
Trevor and Franklin meet at El Burro Heights. Trevor thinks he's there for Franklin to bring peace to the group but Franklin pulls out a gun on him. Franklin says that despite being friends, Trevor is the crazy one that's likely to get all three of them killed.
Trevor, annoyed with the situation, gets back into his truck and drives away. Franklin chases him around Los Santos. He calls Michael, asking for his help again and that they're heading towards the oil fields. Michael arrives at the oil fields and rams into the side of Trevor's truck, causing him to crash into a gas tanker. The tanker breaks, covering Trevor in gas.
Trevor starts shouting at the two and asks them to kill him. Either Franklin can shoot the gas, engulfing Trevor in flames or if he's hesitant Michael will shoot Trevor.
The pair walk away from the scene, with Michael ranting about Trevor and seemingly glad he's met his demise. Before the pair go their separate ways, Franklin will say "it's certainly an education" with Michael responding "surviving is winning". They walk away from each other and the game credits roll.
