Shoot Animals Photography Challenge

Shoot Animals Photography Challenge is a series of Freemode Missions in GTA Online.

This job has been added to the game as part of the 1.68 The Chop Shop update on January 4, 2024, and is available exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

This is a Solo mode that can be played by each GTA Online player individually.

A similar Shoot Animals Photography Challenge activity is also present in Grand Theft Auto V.

Players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will also notice wildlife roving the biomes of Southern San Andreas. Locals and visitors alike can track, find, and photograph three different animals each day as part of a new Daily Collectible.
Find out which creatures to be on the lookout for by visiting the LS Tourist Board in Blaine County or send them an email by rolling over the blip on your Pause Menu Map.

Introduced as a daily collectible for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S editions of Grand Theft Auto: Online, this event is a continuation of the GTA V Wildlife Photography Challenge.

The player will receive a notification to visit the LS Tourist Board at Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. There, they can see which wildlife they must photograph to complete the daily challenge - every day, three different animals must be photographed.

Daily progress may also be checked in the Interaction Menu under collectibles. As in the GTA V mission, the animals must be photographed up close, centered and without obstructions. Once photographed correctly, a prompt appears to e-mail the photo to the LS Tourist Board.

But the LS Tourist Board has a plan: a portfolio of wildlife photography to prove how peaceful our home really is. So get out there and snap restful boars, tranquil mountain lions and serene coyotes as the scavenge for scraps. Whatever the creature, they're all equally beautiful according to our policy. 3	Chicken-Hawk	At Sandy Shores Airfield left of the hangar.
4	Cow	Around the farms surrounding the town of Grapeseed and Grapeseed Cow Farm.
5	Coyote	Desert regions, like Sandy Shores
6	Crow	Sandy Shores Airfield right of the hangar.
7	Deer	Forested areas of Blaine County, like Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness and Paleto Forest
8	Great Cormorant	In the wetland of Lago Zancudo.
9	Hen	In the Grapeseed Cow Farm
10	Mountain Lion	Forested areas throughout San Andreas. One will always spawn near the Yoga mat at the top of Mount Gordo.
11	Pig	Around farms and countryside houses in Blaine County and at Grapeseed Cow Farm.
12	Poodle	On Del Perro Beach, Vinewood Boulevard or Rockford Hills.
13	Pug	Around Rockford Hills, Mirror Park or Vespucci Beach.
14	Rabbit	Rural areas of San Andreas
15	Seagull	Flying in coastline areas such as Vespucci Beach or near the docks.

Shoot Animals Photography Challenge: Rewards

The player may earn several rewards for taking part in the Photography Challenge. The player receives $20,000 and 500 RP per picture and an additional $40,000 and 5,000 RP for completing the photography list.

Additionally, reaching photography milestones unlocks extra rewards:

Photographing one animal will unlock the ability to purchase the Park Ranger at full price.
Photographing three animals unlocks the Zoophilist Outfit for the player.
Photographing ten animals unlocks the trade price for the Park Ranger.
