The Deer / Elk is a Land Animal that appears in Grand Theft Auto V.

It can be found in Forested areas of Blaine County, such as Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness and Paleto Forest.

The Deer / Elk is one of the animals that can be hunted by Trevor Philips as part of the Hunting activity.

How to Play as Deer / Elk in GTA V:

In the Next Gen edition of GTA V, players are able to play as a Deer / Elk by finding one of the Peyote Plants in the game world. After consuming one, the protagonist will temporarily transform into a random animal.

Transforming into a Deer / Elk is required for the "Cryptozoologist" Achievement, and will unlock the ability to play as a Deer / Elk anytime inside Director Mode.

Also, photographing this animal is required for the "Wildlife Photography Challenge" side mission.
