The Cat is a Land Animal that appears in Grand Theft Auto V exclusively as part of the enhanced edition for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
It can be found in Most alleys and urban areas around Los Santos and Blaine County.
This animal also appears in GTA 6 and Red Dead 2.
How to Play as Cat in GTA V:
In the Next Gen edition of GTA V, players are able to play as a Cat by finding one of the Peyote Plants in the game world. After consuming one, the protagonist will temporarily transform into a random animal.
Transforming into a Cat is required for the "Cryptozoologist" Achievement, and will unlock the ability to play as a Cat anytime inside Director Mode.
Also, photographing this animal is required for the "Wildlife Photography Challenge" side mission.

As of the 1.72 A Safehouse In The Hills Update, the Cat is available to be selected as a pet for your GTA Online Mansion, for the price of $15,000. It can be owned in a choice of 5 colors (White, Calico, Ginger, Gray, Black).
