Private Taxi Fares

Private Taxi Fares are an activity present in Grand Theft Auto V, available to Franklin Clinton after purchasing the Downtown Cab Co.

There are nine private fares that the manager of the company will deliver to Franklin via his cellphone. Usually, these missions become available once every in-game week.

Once the player accepts the mission, the passenger is marked with a P on the map. Any car may be used to complete these missions, except the "Clown Car" mission which requires a four-seater vehicle.

This is an optional endeavor, not required for 100% Completion of the game. However, completing at least one private fare will earn the "All's Fare in Love and War" achievement.

This side activity is also present in Grand Theft Auto IV.

Private Taxi Fares 1: Clown Car

Punctual Bonus: $200

Get a four-door vehicle for this job. Pick up three passengers from the Richman Hotel on West Eclipse Boulevard. Every passenger will need to be dropped off separately:

the first one at the Maze Bank Branch on Alta Street in Pillbox Hill.
the second one at the Fleeca Branch on Hawick Avenue in Alta.
the third one at the 24/7 on Innocence Boulevard in Strawberry.

The passengers will mention wanting to enjoy some hip-hop, so tune the radio to Radio Los Santos or West Coast Classics. Be quick and avoid damaging the vehicle to get the bonus.

Private Taxi Fares 2: Cut You In

Smooth Getaway Bonus: $1,000

Pick up the passenger from the Los Santos International Airport. Take him to the jewelry store on Atlee Street in Mission Row. Then, he will tell Franklin that he means to rob the store and enlists the player as his getaway driver.

After dropping the robber at the store, the player will hear gunshots and explosions, and soon after the thief will come back in the car, earning Franklin a 2-star wanted level. Lose this wanted level then take the robber to the FlyUS terminal at LSX.

Not being spotted by the police earns a $1,000 bonus, alongside a tip between $5,000 and $10,000.

Private Taxi Fares 3: Deadline

Ludicrous Speed Bonus: $200

This mission is located in Sandy Shores. Pick up the fare near the 24/7 on Alhambra Drive and take him to a poker game on North Conker Avenue in Vinewood Hills in under an hour and a half (around 3 minutes in real life). Take off-road routes to reach the destination in time.

If the player manages to reach the destination thirty or more seconds early, they will receive a $200 bonus.

Private Taxi Fares 4: Take It Easy

No Puke Bonus: $100

Take the customer from the Up-n-Atom Burger on Clinton Avenue in Vinewood. The passenger is feeling "woozy" and asks to be driven carefully to "Rob's Place" in the Vespucci Canals, which is Rob's Liquor Store on San Andreas Avenue. Drive slowly and steadily to prevent the passenger to puke out of the window, earning the player an extra $100.

Private Taxi Fares 5: Fare Needs Excitement

Daredevil Bonus: $200

The fare can be found under the awning over the Rockford Drive entrance to the Mount Zonah Medical Center in Rockford Hills. He enjoys reckless driving and will pay more for it. Speed and drift in the corners, drive through oncoming traffic and perform stunt jumps before dropping him off at the Vinewood Sign to earn the $200 bonus.

Private Taxi Fares 6: Follow Car

Private Eye Bonus: $100

The fare is picked up on Fudge Lane in El Burro Heights, and she needs a ride to the Central Los Santos Medical Center, where her fiancee works as a doctor. The passenger believes her fiancee is cheating on her and tasks Franklin to tail him to his girlfriend's house. Keep a good distance and act normal until the driver pulls into a building's parking lot on Palomino Avenue in Little Seoul. The lady will jump out of the car and shoot both cheaters, then run off.

If the player follows the target car carefully, they will earn a $100 bonus.

Private Taxi Fares 7: Got You Now

Knocked a Sucka Out Bonus: $100

Drive to the cul-de-sac at the ULSA campus off of Picture Perfect Drive in Richman to pick up a student waiting to be taken to Elgin Avenue in Strawberry. The student will throw racial slurs at Franklin, before verbally assaulting his girlfriend over the phone. Once the player arrives, they will see the passenger's girlfriend bent over the fare's Gauntlet.

Franklin will comment on the girl's appearance, throwing the fare into a jealous rage. He will attempt to pull the player out of the vehicle and beat him down - avoid using weapons and take him down using your Fists.

His now ex-girlfriend will ask for a ride to her friend's Little Seoul apartment on Palomino Avenue, and will also give the player her number, now available for a Booty Call.

Beating the jerk using only your fists will award a $100 bonus.

Private Taxi Fares 8: Got Your Back

Terminator Bonus: $230

This private fare ends in a shoot-out: Pick up the passenger outside the Ammu-Nation on Elgin Avenu in Pillbox Hill. On the way to Pier 400, he mentions how his niece is missing, and that she was last seen with members of the Lost MC. He then hands Franklin a weapon in case "something goes wrong".

The fare will hop out and approach three Lost MC members, pointing his pistol in an attempt to intimidate them. The player has the option to get out of the vehicle and shoot them or to run them over. Then, reinforcements will arrive, and they need to be taken out before leaving the scene to complete the mission.

Private Taxi Fares 9: Take to the Best Tailor

Best Store Bonus: $500

The fare wants to be taken to "the best tailor" in Los Santos.

The player has the option to take them to Ponsonbys on Portola Drive, Suburban on Prosperity Street or a Discount Store on Strawberry Avenue.

The most money will be awarded for taking the fare to the Ponsonbys.
