Apartment properties in GTA Online are the most basic type of safehouse, along with standalone Garages, which have existed since the game's launch.
Apartments can be purchased (after the player has reached Rank 5) via the Dynasty8realestate.com website, or by directly interacting with the "For Sale" sign outside a property.
How many Apartments can you own in GTA Online?
The current amount of Apartments and Garages you can own in GTA Online is 10 in total.
Originally, the player was only able to own one Apartment, however, this limit has been expanded in subsequent GTA Online updates:
- After the 1.13 High Life Update, players can own up to 2 Apartments / Garages
- After 1.19 Festive Surprise, players can own up to 3 Apartments / Garages
- After the 1.30 Lowriders update, players can own up to 4 Apartments / Garages
- After 1.31 Executives and Other Criminals, players can own up to 5 Apartments / Garages
- After the 1.36 Bikers Update, players can own up to 6 Apartments / Garages
- After the 1.51 Los Santos Summer Special Update, players can own up to 8 Apartments / Garages
- After the 1.61 Criminal Enterprises Update, players can own up to 10 Apartments / Garages
Apartment Activities
Apartments provide several form of activities, such as watching television, playing the radio, as well as change clothes, shower and sleep. Properties you own will appear on the Map as a white house blip, while Friends’ apartments will appear on the Map as a blue house blip.
You can invite Friends into your apartment, they can ring your buzzer or you can send them an invitation via the Interaction Menu.
Apartment Tiers
There are three tiers of Apartments: Low-End, Medium and High-End, each featuring a respective interior style. Subsequent GTA Online updates added new styles of interiors for High-End Apartments, including Stilt Houses and Customizable Penthouses.
All Apartments also come complete with Garages for safely storing cars, and the more exclusive Apartments have excellent views.
Low-End Apartments

- Price Range: $80,000 to $121,000
Medium APARTMENTS
- Vehicle Storage: 6 vehicles; 2 bicycles
- Price Range: $125,000 to $175,000
High-End APARTMENTS
High-end Apartments also feature the Heist planning room needed to set up Heists.
