Golf

Golf is an Activity in GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony. It becomes available after completing Practice Swing.

This is an optional endeavor, but it is required for 100% completion of the game. It's not time-sensitive, meaning it can be played at any point, even after the main storyline is completed.

This side activity is also present in GTA Online, Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Vice City Stories.

Golf - Activity Details:

Golf is an Activity available in Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony, introduced to the player during the mission "Practice Swing". After completion of this mission, the player can begin playing golf games with Luis' friends during friend activities or by themselves by standing in front of the Swingers Golf Club driving range.

The goal of the game is to send the white ball into the marked holes in the ground with as few shots as possible. In this mini-game, the player chooses the point at which they want the ball to land. Afterward, an oscillating cursor on a "power" bar appears. The player must stop the cursor as close as possible to the marked point in order to hit the ball with the force required for it to land in the hole.

The player can earn the "Four Play" achievement by hitting a flag with a golf ball four times.
