Beat the Cock! (Triathlons)

Beat the Cock! (Triathlons) is an Activity in GTA San Andreas. It becomes available after completing Yay Ka-Boom-Boom.

Two triathlons are available for Carl to beat.

This is an optional endeavor, not required for 100% completion of the game.

This side activity is also present in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Beat the Cock! (Triathlons) - Activity Details:

Beat the Cock! is the name of two triathlon events featured in GTA: San Andreas. Each challenge consists of swimming, cycling and running - it is sponsored by Cluckin' Bell, and poster ads for the event can be seen in every gym in the game.

In the events, CJ has to win a triathlon against 8 other participants, one of which is dressed in a yellow cock-suit. The challenges are physically demanding, therefore a high cycling ability and high stamina are required to win the race. Winning the two events does not count for100% Completion, but winning them is required to unlock the "Beat the Cock" achievement / trophy on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.

Beat the Cock! (Triathlons): Events

The events can only be started on in-game weekends. No traffic spawns on the roads while triathlons are in progress.

Santa Maria Beach Triathlon

The first event starts in Santa Maria Beach, Los Santos, next to the pathway that goes to the lighthouse. Its total length is 6.75 kilometers and starts with a 350m swim, followed by a 5.1km cycle and ends with a 1.3km run to the radio tower on top of Missionary Hill.

This challenge is unlocked after Yay Ka-Boom-Boom and awards $10,000 for winning.

Palomino Creek Beach Triathlon

The second event starts at the Palomino Creek Beach in Red County. Its total length is 20.5 kilometers and starts with a 500m swim, followed by a 19km cycle and ends with a 1km sprint to the Four Dragons Casino.

This challenge is unlocked after Yay Ka-Boom-Boom and awards $20,000 for winning.
