Grass Roots - Trevor | GTA 5 Strangers & Freaks Gold Medal Guide

Grass Roots - Trevor is a Strangers & Freaks side mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Barry , involving protagonist Trevor Philips .

The mission becomes available after completing the Three's Company story mission.

It's the 2° mission for Barry , after the Grass Roots - Michael mission.

This is an optional mission, not required for 100% completion of the game.

Grass Roots - Trevor - Mission Details:

Trevor agrees to try out Barry's marijuana and hallucinates Clowns.

Trevor meets Barry, an advocate for the legalisation of marijuana, in Legion Square. Barry asks for Trevor's signature is 'the most important fight of them all'. Trevor asks if it's for poverty or AIDS before he realises it's to legalise marijuana.

Trevor has no interest in the legalisation of the drug as he already makes a lot of money selling it illegally. Barry offers him a drag but Trevor turns it down saying he doesn't smoke anymore.

Barry persuades him by saying it's good weed. Trevor takes a drag. However, vision and hearing starts to haze and clowns start to appear out of nowhere. He is suddenly holding a shotgun to take out the clowns.

The clowns will come in various waves and will occasionally ride appear in clown cars. Once all the clowns are dealt with, Trevor comes down from his 'high' and asks what that was. He shouts it was horrible before storming off.

Gold Medal Objectives (100%)

The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "Grass Roots - Trevor":

Pre-Emptive Strike: Kill 4 clown vans before they can generate clowns
Greatest Dancer: Kill 6 clowns while they are dancing
- Clowns dance when they reload.

Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.
