Grass Roots - The Pickup is a Strangers & Freaks side mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Barry, involving protagonist Franklin Clinton.
It's the 4° mission for Barry, after the Grass Roots - Franklin mission.
Being a Franklin mission, this Strangers & Freaks mission is required for 100% completion of the game.
Grass Roots - The Pickup - Mission Details:
Franklin has to deliver a truck containing drugs for Barry.
Barry texts Franklin, telling him of the location on a truck with marijuana stashed in it. Franklin head to a lumberyard situated at El Rancho Boulevard in Murrieta Heights. Once Franklin has located the truck, he calls Barry to let him know. Barry asks Franklin to deliver it to his apartment in Vespucci but he needs to be quick.
Franklin must avoid police or lose them if they catch him in the truck, before dropping off the truck. Once he's dropped off the truck, he exits the truck and calls Barry to let him know the task has been completed.
Gold Medal Objectives (100%)
The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "Grass Roots - The Pickup":
- Mission Time: Complete within 2:45
- Unwanted Outcome: Complete without garnering a wanted level
- Go out of the lumberyard through the back to avoid a wanted level.
Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.
