The Bus Assassination

The Bus Assassination is an optional story mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Lester Crest , involving protagonist Franklin Clinton .

This is one of Lester's Assassinations missions, which is optional for story progression, but still required for 100% completion. It's strongly advised to play this mission after the main storyline is completed, in order to make the most profit.

Lester asks Franklin to assassinate a man called Isaac Penny, who is about to take a controlling share in the Vapid Motor Company.

Gold Medal Objectives (100%)

The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "The Bus Assassination":

Time: Time taken to complete mission.
Hit and Run: Kill the target using the bus.
Money Earned: Money earned from the hit.

Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.

The Bus Assassination - Mission Details:

Franklin picks up a ringing payphone in Downtown Los Santos. Lester tells Franklin of a man called Isaac Penny. He is about to take a controlling share in Vapid Motor Company and get rid of thousands of workers.

Despite being a billionaire, Isaac still rides the bus to and from work every day. Lester wants Franklin to take over and drive the bus route then take out Isaac when he gets on the bus. Franklin takes control of a bus from the bus station and drives the bus route, stopping at various bus stops.

Once he arrives at Isaacs stop, Isaac antagonises Franklin for being late. Franklin notices who it is, causing Isaac to flee on a bike. Franklin chases him down and assassinates him. Franklin leaves the area and calls Lester to say the job is done.

Important Stock Market Investments:

The Assassination Missions play a huge role in the GTA V Stock Market, with the targets' deaths affecting the stock value of specific companies. The player can make huge profits by purchasing and selling certain stocks at the right times.

Assassinations can be done after the end of the main story. So it's best to first complete the Story Missions before doing any other Assassination Mission, in order to have the most millions of dollars to invest.

After this mission:

Invest all the money of all three protagonists in Vapid (VAP) stocks on the Bawsaq site.
Wait a few in-game days before selling the Vapid stocks so that they can reach their maximum value; the maximum percentage of return is ~100%.

Note: To make the in-game time advance faster, you can sleep or simply enter the save menu from a character's bed without saving. Make sure to create a save slot before starting an assassination mission, so that if the peak return is missed you can reload the previous save.
