When is the GTA Update Coming? Summer DLC Release Date & Time

Rockstar has now officially confirmed the release date of the Summer 2025 DLC. The GTA Online "Money Fronts" update is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

The 1.71 Title Update will come to GTA Online for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

What time does the GTA 'Money Fronts' Update come out?

Based on the release of previous updates, the release time of the GTA Online Summer 2025 DLC, called "Money Fronts", will be on June 17 at 2 AM PT / 5 AM ET / 10 AM UK:

GTA Online Money Fronts Update: New Businesses

At the heart of the GTA Online Money Fronts Update is the ability to acquire and run iconic local businesses that serve as Money Fronts for laundering criminal profits.

Through a partnership with longtime GTA character Martin Madrazo, players will work with new criminal advisors to expand their network.

Players will start with ownership of the Hands On Car Wash in Strawberry - a seemingly innocuous business that becomes the central hub for funneling illicit income.

Additional properties like Smoke on the Water (a cannabis dispensary) and Higgins Helitours can be purchased, each offering unique perks and passive income opportunities. These properties will also boost earnings on your Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo, respectively.

Laundering activities will generate "Heat" - a new system that measures the level of law enforcement attention your empire attracts. Players will have to actively manage the legitimate sides of their businesses to keep a low profile and continue earning money without interference.

GTA Summer Update 2025 DLC: New Vehicles

As we have come to expect with all GTA Online Updates, we can look for several new cars and vehicles to be added with the Summer 2025 DLC, with some introduced at launch on June 17, and more to be released in the subsequent months.

• The existing Western Police Bike will become available for purchase, which ties into new Dispatch Work missions and includes a matching Summer Highway Patrol Outfit.
• After the PS5 & Xbox Series X|S Update introduced the new Hao's Special Works Auto Shop, we could also expect more cars to be made eligible for the HSW Upgrades.
• GTA+ Members will receive exclusive early access to the Överflöd Suzume supercar, an extra daily spin at the Diamond Casino & Resort, and other benefits.
• We will add all the new confirmed vehicles here as soon as they're revealed.

GTA Summer Update 2025: Experience Improvements

Building off the adjustments made with the previous updates, based on player feedback, this Summer’s GTA Online update will also add a range of experience improvements.

• Missile Lock-On Jammers added to 50 additional vehicles
• Skippable cutscenes for mission replays
• Double Arena Points earnings
• Public session Sell Missions now feature a delayed global signal timer
• Removal of the Boxville Van from Biker Sell Missions
