Cone Crazy

Cone Crazy is an Off-Road Challenge that players can perform in GTA Vice City.

Collect checkpoints in a multi-story car park in Washington Beach.

This is an optional endeavor, but it is required for 100% completion of the game. It's not time-sensitive, meaning it can be played at any point, even after the main storyline is completed.

This side activity is also present in GTA 3.

Cone Crazy - Off-Road Challenge Details:

The "Cone Crazy" side-mission is a checkpoint mission, where the player has to collect 5 checkpoints without hitting any traffic cones, but quick enough, before the time runs out. The mission is triggered by entering the parked Stallion on top of a multistory car park behind the Ocean View Hotel.

A timer starts once the first checkpoint is collected, and every checkpoint hit adds a 12-second bonus to the timer. For each consecutive record set, the checkpoint bonus will be reduced by 1 second, down to a minimum of 6 seconds per checkpoint.

The reward for completing the mission successfully is $200, doubled for every new record. Because of the power of exponential growth, this mission is one of the quickest ways to make a huge amount of money in GTA Vice City (the 10th completion already awarding $102,400).

Realistically, the maximum money one can earn in one run is up to $838,860,860, for a total of $1,677,721,400 after the 23rd win.
