The Rocket Launcher is a weapon in the Heavy Weapons class featured in Grand Theft Auto III. The design of the Rocket Launcher in GTA 3 is based on a real life M72 Light Anti-Tank Weapon.
This weapon also appears in GTA 6, Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto IV, GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City.

The most notable weapon of the Grand Theft Auto Series, the Rocket Launcher (or RPG - Rocket Propelled Grenade). Can be used to blow up large groups of enemies or vehicles, taking almost everything down with one single shot. Expensive and rare, but incredibly powerful!
How to get the Rocket Launcher in GTA III:
The Rocket Launcher in GTA 3 can be purchased from Phil Cassidy's Army Surplus, for a price of $25,000.
It becomes available after completing the mission Arms Shortage in Story Mode.
The Rocket Launcher also Spawns at the player's safehouse after collecting 100 Hidden Packages.
The Rocket Launcher can be found and picked up around the Liberty City map (see the spawn locations in the "Appearances" section below).
