In Grand Theft Auto: Advance, the player can access several vehicle challenges by using different, specific vehicles. This article is a guide for the Firefighter, Paramedic, Vigilante, and the Taxi Driver side missions. It is recommended to complete these missions after the end of the main story, to avoid issues with aggressive rival gangs.

Vehicle Missions: Firefighter

Firefighter GTA: CW side mission

While inside of a Fire Truck, the player can press L and R at the same time to begin the Firefighter side mission. The player can press the A and B buttons at the same time to use the fire hose.

In total, the player must extinguish 60 fires to complete the Firefighter side mission, 20 on each island. The player need not extinguish all fires in a row, and can end the mission at any time, restarting from the last fire extinguished. The first fire extinguished awards the player $100, the next $200, and so on.

After extinguishing all 60 fires, the player will receive a Flamethrower delivered at their hideout and progress towards 100% completion of the game.

Vehicle Missions: Paramedic

Paramedic GTA: CW side mission

While inside of an Ambulance, the player can press L and R at the same time to begin the Paramedic side mission.

In total, the player needs to complete 12 levels, picking up and taking one or more pedestrians to the hospital within a time limit. In these 12 levels, the player will deliver 78 patients to the hospital.  Every level requires picking up an extra pedestrian and rewards the player $100 more, starting from 1 pedestrian and $100 at level 1. The player can pick up any number of patients at a time, and does not need to drop them off three at a time, unlike other games.

The 12 levels need not be completed in a row, the player can stop, get killed or busted and continue from the last level completed when they restart. As soon as the player leaves the Ambulance, the mission ends.

After delivering 35 patients by completing Level 8, a 25-point Health pickup will be delivered at the player's hideout. After completing all 12 levels, the player gains Infinite Sprint and achieves progress towards 100% completion of the game.

Vehicle Missions: Taxi Driver

Taxi Driver GTA: CW side mission

While inside of a Taxi, the player can press L and R at the same time to begin the Taxi Driver side mission.

The player must pick up passengers and deliver them to their required destination in a time limit. In order to fully complete the Taxi Driver mission and gain progress towards 100% completion of the game, the player must complete 100 fares. These fares need not be done in a row, and the player can always exit and restart the Taxi Driver mission, reloading their progress.

Longer fares will award the player more money, and the player can use Pay'n'Spray's as often as needed to repair their vehicle.

After completion of 50 fares, the Borgnine taxi, which is faster and more resistant, will be delivered to the Portland Hideout.

Vehicle Missions: Vigilante

Vigilante GTA: CW side mission

While in a Police Car, the player will begin the "Vigilante" side mission. A red dot will appear on the radar, representing a criminal that needs to be chased and taken down by the player in a time limit.

To fully complete the Vigilante side mission, required for 100% completion, the player must take down a total of 60 criminals, 20 on each island, but this need not be done in one session. The player can stop at any time and restart the Vigilante mission later.

The first takedown awards the player $100, the next one $200, then $300, and so on. Every 10 kills award the player with a Police Bribe delivered to their hideout.
