How to get the Hunter Hatchet in RDR2 Story Mode:

The Hunter Hatchet in RDR2 can only be picked up around the map, it is Found in a tree stump directly south of Window Rock (Grizzlies West, Ambarino). It cannot be otherwise purchased.

Hunter Hatchet Description:

A rare Hatchet, with a long bearded axe bit that allows for greater control when planing or shaving wood. In Story Mode, this melee weapon is found in a tree stump near Window Rock in the Grizzlies, and appears to be fairly new. This Hatchet can also be thrown.

The Hunter Hatchet is a brutal, sharp-edged weapon built to hew through flesh and bone alike. It is now carried in Red Dead Online by local Fences in Saint Denis, Emerald Ranch, Van Horn and Rhodes.
