The Viking Hatchet is a weapon in the Thrown Weapons, Melee Weapons class featured in the Story Mode of Red Dead Redemption 2.

This weapon cannot be customized.

How to get the Viking Hatchet in RDR2 Story Mode:

The Viking Hatchet in RDR2 can only be picked up around the map, it is Found in the old tomb, a short distance to the northeast of Beaver Hollow (Roanoke Ridge, New Hanover). It cannot be otherwise purchased.

Viking Hatchet Description:

A rare ancient Hatchet, engraved all over with Nordic patterns and bound with leather. This melee weapon was found at an old stone altar in the Roanoke Valley area of New Hanover, lodged into a skull. This Hatchet can also be thrown.

Where to find the Viking Hatchet in Red Dead Redemption 2 (Map Location):

The location for the Old Tomb is far North West of New Hanover, tucked away in the south of the Roanoke Valley. The exact Old Tomb location shows a star-like symbol on the map.
