Gerald is an early employer for the player in GTA Online, and he is a member of The Families.
He is a major drug dealer who is involved with raids on drug deals. Gerald often requests the player to attack drug deals, steal the merchandise, and bring it back to Gerald's apartment.
He's introduced to the GTA Online Protagonist by Lamar, and the two work together closely for some time, until Gerald gets arrested because of Lamar's actions with a lowrider delivery. He is transported by plane to the Bolingbroke penitentiary, but will eventually be rescued by the Online Protagonist. These events lead to a sour relationship between Gerald and Lamar, visible in a Lifeinvader post in Grand Theft Auto: V.
