The Western Toad is a Small-sized animal of the Toad species, featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.
This animal can be hunted, but cannot be skinned. Studying the Western Toad is required for the "Zoologist" Achievement.
Western Toad Details & Location:
Western Toads are native to the Lemoyne wetlands. As carnivores, they prey on large bees, beetles, ants, crayfish, and arachnids. A Bow with Small Game Arrows is considered to be the best weapon to hunt toads with as it does minimal damage to the carcass. Their legs are a great source of food.
Western Toad Hunting Tips:
The Western Toad yields a carcass and herptile meat. Used in crafting and cooking or can be sold. Use a Bow with a Small Game Arrow for a clean kill.
