Mallard Duck

The Mallard Duck is a Small-sized bird of the Duck species, featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.

This animal can be hunted and skinned. Studying and skinning the Mallard Duck is required for the "Zoologist" and "Skin Deep" Achievements.

Mallard Ducks are common to the wetlands of West Elizabeth, New Hanover and Lemoyne. As omnivores, their diet consists of nuts, grains, snails, and small fish. A Bow with Small Game Arrows is considered to be the best weapon for hunting ducks. Their gamey meat is a good source of food, and their feathers can be used for crafting.

The Mallard Duck yields feathers and game meat. Used in crafting and cooking or can be sold. Use a Varmint Rifle for a clean kill.
