Santo is a loan shark in Liberty City who lends money to Luis' mother, which she struggles to pay off.

The debt is paid off when Santo takes Luis to cage fighting on the expectation that Luis would take a fall in the third round. If he doesn't Santo attacks Luis with a knife, forcing him to kill him in self-defense.
