The Ring-necked Pheasant is a Small-sized bird of the Pheasant species, featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.

This animal can be hunted and skinned. Studying and skinning the Ring-necked Pheasant is required for the "Zoologist" and "Skin Deep" Achievements.

The Ring-necked Pheasants can be found in the grasslands of New Hanover and West Elizabeth. They are omnivores but their diet changes seasonally. In the winter, they feed on grains and, in the summer, they eat small insects. An effective weapon to use when hunting pheasants is a Bow with Small Game Arrows. The feathers of pheasants can be used for crafting, and their meat provides a good source of food.
