Running Back is an Adversary Mode in GTA Online.
This job has been added to the game as part of the 1.30 Lowriders update on November 24, 2015, and is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
This is a Team PVP mode that can be played by 3 Teams, for a total of 4 to 8 players.
Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas. Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them.
Running Back: Locations / Variations
Running Back I
Running Back I takes place on the Cassidy Creek Bridge. The Offensive team starts on the north side and the Defenders on the south.
Running Back II
Running Back II takes place on the San Andreas Avenue Bridge. The Offensive team starts on the east side and the Defenders on the south.
Running Back III
Running Back III takes place in the Fort Zancudo Tunnel. The Offensive team starts on the north side and the Defenders on the south.
