Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is both a controversial game and a good game! Crime is made one of its main game themes. The game GTA SA gives a rating level for its players' "crimes" in the game, which is called "Criminal Rating". This rating can be seen in Pause Menu > Stats.

How to Increase Criminal Rating in GTA San Andreas?
On All Occasions
- Getting money $5,000: +1 point
- Completing 1 mission: +5 points
- Buying a Safehouse: +5 points
- Doing Legitimate Kill: +1 point
- Destroying aircraft, such as planes, or helicopters: +30 points
- Destroying ground vehicles: +0
- 100% Completion: +1000 points
Only During Missions
- Every fire extinguished: +1 point
- Every pedestrian saved in an ambulance: +1 point
- Every criminal killed in Vigilante: +1 point
- Every level of Firefighter mission: +10 points (120 points max)
- Every level of Paramedic mission: +10 points (120 points max)
How are Criminal Rating Points Decreased?
- Spending money $5,000: -1 point
- Busted: -3 points
- Wasted: -3 points
- Using a cheat: -10 point
How to Get Criminal Rating Points Easily without Cheating?
- Drive a car or ride a motorbike, and get inside Pay 'n' Spray.
- While inside Pay 'n' Spray, exit the car or get out of the motorbike.
- Make a wanted level by shooting at pedestrians, cars, or motorbikes. The recommended weapons are Minigun, Rocket Launcher, and Heat-Seeking Rocket Launcher.
- When Carl Johnson gets 3 wanted stars, there will be police helicopters or news choppers. Shoot and destroy them. Each chopper destroyed will add +30 points to the Criminal Rating.
- If C.J. runs out of body armor and HP, quickly get inside the car or motorbike that C.J. had parked before inside the Pay 'n' Spray. This method will easily evade the wanted stars.

So, the lowest criminal rating is "Cheater", and the highest is "King of San Andreas" which requires +1M points. That is not easy to get, right?
