The GTA VI hacking group Lapsus$ was held accountable on July 11th in court, facing 12 charges. 18-year-old Arion Kurtaj sent all Rockstar Games staff a message via Slack threatening to leak source code for the next entry, according to prosecutors.
Previous events
The teen targeted Reolut and Uber before hacking Rockstar Games just two days later. Another member who is 17 years old also blackmailed BT, a big broadband provider in the UK. Both teens are believed to have played a role in hacking Nvidia in February 2022.
