Rockstar has announced that the release date for Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed to Spring 2018. The game, which is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, was originally set to be released this fall.

Rockstar stated: "This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans."

To make up for the delay, Rockstar Games promised fans of the Western action that there would be “more details about the game this summer”, and unveiled the first ever official in-game screenshots. You can check them out below!
