GTA Online Heists: Full List & Guide
Here you find a complete guide to all the Heist Modes available in GTA Online, including the 5 original Heists, and all the ones released in subsequent Title Updates, such as The Doomsday Heist, The Diamond Casino Heist, The Cayo Perico Heist, and The Kortz Center Heist.
Heists are massive cooperative experiences for GTA Online, where 2 to 4 players team up to pull off a string of intense multi-part heists, raids, and robberies. These involve numerous setup missions featuring unique gameplay, vehicles, weapons, and scenarios to test a team’s full set of skills - culminating in a high-profit finale.
Choose your roles and strategize to complete each stage of a Heist, with tight communication and coordination being the key to success. Some missions will require the team to work as a single unit, while others will break the team into separate roles to complete key objectives.
Starting a Heist
- The 5 original Heists unlock at Rank 12 for players owning a high-end Apartment. They are started by a call from Lester and a visit to his garment factory.
- All other Heists require owning a specific property, which is listed in our guide below.
- The host (Heist Leader) can choose to invite other players from the lobby, their friends list, or players from the previous Heist.
- The Heist Leader pays an up-front cost to finance the job, and dictates how the final profits will be split among the players.
- Heists are available for replay after completing each full strand as Heist Leader. There is a short delay before you can replay the same Heist again as Leader.
Setup Missions
- Members earn money for completing each Setup Mission.
- Heist Leaders do not earn any money for completing a setup mission, though they do earn 10% more RP than other members. Leaders can assign themselves a larger portion of the take once the entire Heist is complete.
- Successfully completing a setup mission drops players back into Freemode. The Heist Leader can then use their phone to return to the Heist planning board and start the next job in the strand.
- All newer Heists (excluding the original 5) also include Prep Jobs, missions that take place during Freemode sessions and are required to unlock Setup missions.

The rewards for each heist are listed below and can be found in detail inside the respective guides. You can also complete Elite Challenges for additional cash bonuses.
On July 14, 2026, Rockstar Games reduced the standard payout of most Heists, but implemented a higher payout for their first completion each week (about 1.5x). The bonus applies separately to each heist, and the rotation resets every Thursday.

The Fleeca Job
Prove your worth as a heist crew member by taking down a small Fleeca Bank franchise on the Western Highway. Scope it out, get your getaway car then take it down and get out clean.
The Prison Break
Break a high value inmate out of Bolingbroke Penitentiary. To get him out, you'll need an inmate transport bus and a smugglers' plane. To keep him happy, you'll need to settle some debts and get him his car.
The Humane Labs Raid
Go into a secretive research facility and come out with their data. Get hold of an EMP and get it into their grounds, get the Lab's key codes, and get yourself an attack chopper. Then half the team hits the lab and half holds off security until it's done.
Series A Funding
Help a smalltime dealer get the stock he needs to launch a bigtime distribution business. Raid some of the largest narco-operations in the state, take their product, and get it together for the big sale.
The Pacific Standard Job
Bring down the flagship branch of one of the biggest banks in the country. Find a transponder and tune it to the right signal to disable Pacific Standard dye packs, get hacking equipment, getaway bikes and thermal charges, then go in hard and come out with their holdings.

The Diamond Casino Heist

The Cayo Perico Heist

GTA Online Heists: Awards & Challenges
Large cash and RP awards are earned for completing one-off and repeatable Heist Bonus Challenges. Challenge criteria are:
- Completing each Heist Finale for the first time.
- Completing all the Heists as a member.
- Completing all Heists in order.
- Completing all the Heists back to back with the same team.
- Completing all Heists in first person view (the Heist Leader must lock the game to first person in the lobby to unlock this)
- Criminal Mastermind Challenge: Completing all Heists on Hard difficulty, with the same team, in order, and without anyone dying ($10,000,000 bonus)
GTA Online: Robbery Contracts
Starting from July 2021, the game introduced a new series of jobs called Robbery Contracts, which feature a similar structure to Heists, with several setup missions and a Finale - but smaller in scale.
