Burglar

Burglar is a Side Mission in GTA San Andreas. It becomes available after completing Home Invasion.

Steal goods from resident's homes to resell.

This is an optional endeavor, not required for 100% completion of the game.

This side activity is also present in GTA Online and GTA Vice City.

Burglar - Mission Details:

The Burglar side-mission involves quietly searching houses during night-time for items worth stealing, such as TV sets, stereos, radios, consoles and others.

The mission can be started by entering a black Boxville between 20:00 and 6:00. Not all houses can be stolen from, only those with a yellow arrow in front of the door can be entered.

Once inside a house, the player must find an item and take it back to the van, without making too much noise. If the house's occupant wakes up, they will call the police, giving the player 10 seconds to escape the house before acquiring a 3-star wanted level.

On special occasions, the inhabitants will already be awake upon entering the homes, and some houses may be filled with gang members that will attack CJ.

After 6:00 am, the player must unload their stolen items at a nearby garage marked on the map.

Burglar: Rewards

The money earned from burglary depends on the number of goods stolen. The money earned is equal to i2 × 20, where i is the number of items stolen.

Winning over $10.000 from the burglary mission awards the player infinite sprint capabilities along with an extra $3.000.

Burglar: Boxville Locations

The Boxburg (black Boxville) can be found in each of the three cities:

• In Los Santos, the truck can be found in the Ganton Courts, across the street from the gym, in Ganton.
• In San Fierro, the truck is found behind the abandoned Harry Plums Wholesale Fruit building in Doherty.
• In Las Venturas, the truck can be found behind the building closest to the south-east freeway exit in Pilgrim.

Burglar: Lockup Locations

There is one lock-up in each city that CJ can deliver his stolen goods to. It is unnecessary to deliver to the lockup before the mission ends, as CJ has 5 in-game hours after 6:00 to lock up the stolen objects.

• In Los Santos, the garage is LB's Garage in Playa del Seville.
• In San Fierro, the garage is at the same location as the truck's spawn point, at the abandoned Harry Plums Wholesale Fruit building in Doherty.
• In Las Venturas, the garage is at the same location as the truck's spawn point, behind the building closest to the southeast freeway exit in Pilgrim.
