Burglary is a sub-mission that actually does not add a percentage for 100% completion. However, the reward that Carl Johnson will get, which is Infinite Sprint, could help C.J. complete all missions in GTA San Andreas. Infinite Sprint is an ability that makes C.J. able to sprint for unlimited time or to run fast non-stop without running out of stamina.
The Burglary mission actually can be accessed early in the game, even before completing the story mission "Home Invasion". In "Home Invasion", the game introduces this new sub-mission for the first time to the player and the ways to do it, such as starting the mission by driving a Boxville, telling the time to break into a house at 20:00, and selling the stolen goods at the lockup.
The Trick for Completing Burglary in One Attempt
The Burglary mission starts at 20:00 in the evening and ends at 6:00 in the morning. Find a Boxville that is parked in a certain location, then go to the target location before 20:00. In Los Santos, the Boxville is parked in the housing painted blue in Idlewood, across from the Ganton Gym.
Find two adjacent houses, such as in the Playa Del Seville district, or in the Willowfield area near the low-rider garage. The two houses must have a yellow cone or a yellow arrow, meaning these houses can be broken into. Park the Boxville between the two houses, in front of the houses' front fences.
Send Carl Johnson to the first house and take all the goods that spawn in the living room.
After successfully breaking into the first house, send C.J. to the second house and take all the goods that appear in the living room.
And this is the trick to make the Burglary mission completed in just one night or in one attempt: If C.J. re-enters the first house, the goods that were stolen will reappear in the living room. Keep repeating the process, take all the goods from the first house, then enter the second house to take all the goods, and then break into the first house again.
If this trick is done efficiently, Carl Johnson can steal 25 goods in one single night that are worth more than $10,000. Congratulations! The $3,000 cash reward and the Infinite Sprint ability can be easily obtained, right?
Other Tricks for Completing Burglary in One Attempt
1. To walk without making a noise, press the Left ALT + Arrows button. Just be careful not to hit any objects.
2. After taking one stuff, do not sneak out of the house. Just exit as fast as possible. As long as the Police Counter on the screen does not reach 0, Carl Johnson can reenter the house without any problem.
3. Carl Johnson could sneak into the house owner's bedroom and shoot him in the head with a Silenced Pistol (Silenced 9mm). But, C.J. has to exit first and then reenter. Now, there is no more noise meter.
4. Although there is a counter until 06:00, Carl Johnson does not have to go to the lockup at 06:00. The game will give C.J. 5 minutes to go to the lockup.
5. Do not be picky! All the goods have the same prices.
6. The lockup will not accept the stolen goods if C.J. gets a wanted level. Go to the Pay 'n' Spray to repaint the Boxville and lose the wanted level.
