Sea Races are a series of point-to-point races on water present in Grand Theft Auto V. There are four different Sea Races in GTA V, and they become available after the mission Hood Safari.
To start a race, the player needs to go to the race location, swim up to the Seashark and press the prompted button to begin the race. Any protagonist can compete, but there is no monetary reward for these races.
This is an optional endeavor, but finishing 3rd place or better in all four races is required for 100% Completion of the game.
