I Fought the Law...

I Fought the Law... is a main story mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Devin Weston, involving protagonist Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips.

It's the 41° GTA V mission in chronological order, and it takes place in Los Santos.

Franklin steals a Cheetah and an Entity XF for Devin.

Gold Medal Objectives (100%)

The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "I Fought the Law...":

Tight Squeeze: Race between the two trucks.
- There are two trucks side by side just after the start of the race.
Bus Passed: Race between the two buses.
- Near the turn from the LS Freeway, a Bus and a Dashound can be seen driving side by side.
Follow the Leader: Follow Trevor through the tunnel.
Time: Complete within 12:00
- Skip all cutscenes.
- Drive directly from checkpoint to checkpoint.
Split Seconds: Use Franklin's special ability during the race.

Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.

I Fought the Law... - Mission Details:

Michael, Franklin and Trevor meet Devin and Molly at a construction site in Alta. Devin wants the group to steal two vehicles, a Cheetah and an Entity XF, from two trust fund kids. Trevor and Michael head off together. Devin tells them to dress up as San Andrea Highway Patrol officers and for Franklin to take his F620 and race the two cars they need to steal.

Franklin drives to a gas station on the Senora Freeway where the kids are. He challenges the pair to a race which they gladly accept. The three start racing along the Senora Freeway, heading towards the Grapeseed area.

After a few miles of racing, Franklin calls Michael to tell him they're near where Michael and Trevor have camped out, dressed like SAHP officers. Once the cars pass, Michael and Trevor start chasing them on police bikes.

The cars eventually pull over on a bridge near Paleto Bay. Michael and Trevor force the two drivers out of their cars and steal them. Whichever protagonist is being controlled calls Molly. She tells them to drop the cars off at Hayes Auto, back in Los Santos. The three make their way back and race along the way.

Once at Hayes Auto, they're met by Devin and Molly. Franklin asks for their pay but Devin says they'll only get it once all the jobs have been completed. Molly gives the next job, a Z-Type from Chad Mulligan.
