The first task to achieve 100% completion of the game is to complete the story mode. This involves completing all 70 story missions (from Home Sweet Home to The Sicilian Gambit) across the islands of Liberty City: Portland, Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale.

GTA Liberty City Stories: Side Missions

In GTA Liberty City Stories, the player can take part in side missions alongside the story missions. The player can do several tasks, such as the Vehicle Missions, Races, RC Missions, or other Activities. All of the activities listed below are required for 100% completion of the game.

GTA Liberty City Stories: Activities & Challenges

There are various activities to do in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for 100% completion of the game. The following is a list of every activity and challenge required to do for 100% completion of the game.

• 9mm Mayhem - Achieve at least ten kills.
• AWOL Angel - Achieve at least ten kills.
• Scooter Shooter - Achieve at least ten kills.
• Avenging Angels - Reach level 15 on all three islands.
• Bike Salesman - Sell all 40 motorcycles.
• Car Salesman - Complete all 6 levels.
• Go Go Faggio - Complete the challenge by collecting all checkpoints.
• Karmageddon - Destroy as much as property as possible to complete the challenge.
• Scrapyard Challenge - Complete the challenge by collecting all checkpoints.
• See the sight before your flight - Complete all 12 levels.
• Slash TV - Finish all 5 waves.
• Trash Dash - Complete the mission on all three islands.
• Wong side of the Tracks - Complete the mission by going through the checkpoint course.
• RC Triad Take-Down - Take down Triads in a time limit.

GTA Liberty City Stories: Street Races & RC Races

In Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, the player can take part in races and time trials, either driving vehicles or controlling them remotely. Winning the Street Races and completing one level of each RC race is required for 100% completion of the game.

• Chasin' RC - Complete the RC time trial (1 level).
• Thrashin' RC - Complete the RC race (1 level).
• Ragin' RC - Complete the RC time trial (1 level).

GTA Liberty City Stories: Vehicle Missions

Several special vehicles, such as Taxis or Fire Trucks will allow the player to complete Vehicle Side Missions, which award special rewards. Completing these missions is required for 100% completion of the game.

GTA Liberty City Stories: Collectibles

In Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, there are several tasks that the player can do while playing in freemode - They can find and complete Unique Stunt Jumps, Rampages, deliver special vehicles, or look for the special, Hidden Packages. All of these, listed below, must be collected for 100% completion of the game.

For 100% completion of the game, the player must find and complete Stunt Jumps and Rampages, and pick up Hidden Packages.

In GTA Liberty City Stories, the player must find 16 special vehicles and deliver them to Love Media, in exchange for monetary rewards. This task is required for 100% completion of the game.

GTA Liberty City Stories: 100% Completion Rewards

Achieving 100% completion in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories rewards you greatly. 

• First of all, you'll never have to buy ammunition again. All weapons have infinite ammo.
• Want to go around provoking havoc? The Rhino tank spawns in the ruins, in Fort Staunton.
• Speeder boats start appearing in Portland, one at the wooden pier at the Harwood Ferry Terminal, and one at the jetty in Callahan Point.
• On PSP, all multiplayer content is unlocked immediately.

Additionally, multiple tasks required for 100% completion offer great rewards to the player. Once the player achieves 100% completion of the game, they will have received the following rewards:

• More than $500,000 for completing the Story Mode.
• V8 Ghost and PCJ-600 in front of the Staunton Island safehouse.
• Avenger in front of the Saint Mark's safehouse (once)
• Player stops losing money when busted.
• Hero Garb outfit.
• Hellenbach GT at the Capital Autos Showroom.
• Molotov Cocktails in the alleyway behind the Belleville Park Fire Station
• Bulletproof Landstalker in front of the Shoreside Vale safehouse (once).
• Cox Mascot outfit.
• Pistol, Shotgun, Armor, MP5, Python, Carbine Rifle, Combat Sniper, Flamethrower and RPG delivered to all safehouses.
• M60 delivered to all safehouses.
• Manchez motorcycle.
• Player becomes fireproof.
• Health increased by 50 points.
• Player can sprint infinitely.
• Bickle'76 spawning at the Mean Street Taxis Company.
• 100% increase in armor capacity.
