Dead Meat

Dead Meat is a main story mission in GTA Liberty City Stories, given by Ma Cipriani.

It's the 14° LCS mission in chronological order, and it takes place in Portland.

Toni butchers Giovanni Casa to show his mother that he's better than him.

Dead Meat: Mission Objectives

• Swing by Giovanni Casa's deli and 'persuade' him to take a little road trip with you.
• Take Casa to the sawmill.
• Don't let Casa get out alive.
• Sicilian style 'Sausage meat a la Casa' is in the van waiting to be delivered back to Casa's own deli.
• Escape the cops!
• Take the delivery to Casa's deli.

GTA LCS: "Dead Meat" Walkthrough

After snapping the shameful photo of Giovanni Casa, he has stopped paying his protection money. Toni's mother will wish he had Casa's guts, metaphorically speaking, of course. You're given the job of taking him out and disposing of his remains.

Collect Casa

After the brief cutscene, head over to Casa's Deli to pick him up. A couple of police officers are inside, and Toni talks Giovanni into going somewhere private to talk. Follow the yellow blip to take him to the nearby sawmill.

No Easy Way Out

Proceed with caution on the way to your next objective. If Casa dies before reaching the marker, the mission fails. Members of the Sindacco crime family will attack if they spot you, and it's easy for Casa to get caught in the crossfire. Nab the nearest vehicle and head for the yellow blip on the radar. On the way, Casa will fill the silence with a one-sided conversation.

Casa's Final Destination

After reaching the mill, you'll lure Casa inside to finish him off, though he doesn't make it easy for you. After locking him inside and powering on the saw, he'll take off running in an attempt to escape his grim fate. You must make an example out of him by hunting him down and taking him out. 

You'll find that your entire arsenal has temporarily been stripped away, leaving you with nothing more than a hatchet and your fists. The doors are locked, trapping Casa like a rat with no means of escape. You'll need to be as stealthy as you can by sneaking up behind him. If he spots or hears you, he'll flee.

There is no crouching or sneaking system, making this section more difficult than necessary. The trick is to flick the analog stick to sneak up on him instead of utilizing a running attack. It may take a couple of attempts to bring him down, but he'll eventually meet his fate at the end of the sharp blade of your hatchet. The game will cut to a grim scene when it's over to indicate you've completed the task. 

Note: If this section is too frustrating, an alternative method is to wait until you're locked in the sawmill with Casa and input the weapons cheat. You'll have a couple of weapons at your disposal, making this segment much easier. This isn't the recommended method, as saving your progress with cheats activated may corrupt your save file. Proceed with caution if you choose to use cheat codes.

Special Delivery

After the deed's done, you'll spawn outside where a van is waiting with Casa's remains loaded in the back. You'll need to deal with a two-star wanted level before you can deliver the goods. Hop in and head for the nearby Pay n' Spray to get rid of the fuzz. Alternatively, you could drive around and collect bribe stars. 

Once you've shaken the police, drive Casa back to his own deli, where a rather unsettling cutscene will play before the mission is completed, awarding you with $500.
