The Vapid Riata is a Off-Road vehicle featured in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, added to the game as part of the 1.42 The Doomsday Heist update on December 12, 2017.
How to get the Riata in GTA Online:
While it could be purchased in the past, the Riata has been removed from the in-game stores in June 2023, and currently it can no longer be purchased in GTA Online. Its price was $380,000.
However, you can still get the Riata from other players at the LS Car Meet, where it's possible to buy a copy of someone else's vehicle.
The removed vehicles may also be made available in a weekly rotation at the following places:
- LS Car Meet Test Rides (3 spots)
- Simeon's Showroom (5 spots)
- Luxury Autos Showroom (2 spots)
- The Vinewood Car Club (10 spots - GTA+ members only)
The Riata can be stored in any of your Properties/Garages as a Personal Vehicle. It can be customized at Los Santos Customs. You can also modify it in a Vehicle Workshop inside one of your owned properties.
Once acquired, you can request the delivery of the Riata from the Mechanic.
It can also arrive at the player's own Auto Shop Service, where you're tasked to modify a customer's car to their specification and deliver it back to them, or you can optionally purchase it directly.

The actual top speed of the Riata in GTA V is 104.25 mph (167.77 km/h) when it's fully upgraded, as it's been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

Yes, you can sell the Riata at Los Santos Customs for a resale price of $228,000 (60% of the original purchase), plus 50% of the value of your upgrades.
