Stingers is a main story mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Lester Crest, involving protagonist Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips.

This is a Heist Setup mission that is played depending on the approach selected for The Big Score (Subtle Approach).

Gold Medal Objectives (100%)

The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "Stingers":

Escapee: Steal the Police Transporter and escape within 02:00.
- Escape through the LS River.
Not a Scratch: Deliver the Police Transporter with no damage.

Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.

Stingers - Mission Details:

This mission is triggered as part of "Planning the Big Score" and can be completed by either Michael, Franklin or Trevor.

The player leaves the Vanilla Unicorn and gets a text from Lester telling him there's an LSPD van holding spike strips parked in a car park at the South LS police station. The player hops over the wall and knocks out the policeman guarding the van. Steal the van and drive it to the hiding place under the Olympic Freeway.
