Abigail Mathers is a character that appears as a Stranger & Freaks in Grand Theft Auto V.
Abigail Mathers, born Winthrop, is the second wife and the widow of late TV personality Frank Mathers.
Abigail can be found at the Sonar Collections Dock, where she talks about the recent death of her husband, who drowned while testing a submarine. She asks Michael to find all 30 pieces of the submarine, to prove that Frank is dead and therefore collect his life insurance.
After collecting all 30 pieces, Abigail is surprised to find a piece of evidence that suggests sabotage. She declares her intent to take the findings to the FIB, but rather leaves for the airport after rewarding Michael with $10 and an autograph.
In the original (Xbox 360, PS3) version of the game, Abigail's mission was the only way of obtaining the Asea legitimately.
