Avi Schwartzman is a character that appears in GTA Online, introduced on March 10, 2015 as part of the 1.21 Heists DLC update.
Avi Schwartzman is a reclusive and highly skilled hacker with a history of working alongside Lester Crest. First encountered when government agents capture him during the Pacific Standard setup missions, he is rescued so he can help tune the crew into the bank’s security network.
In 2019, he became involved again when Signal Jammers interfered with his broadcasts. Destroying all 50 of them unlocks Avi as the most expensive hacker for the Diamond Casino Heist, where he takes a 10% cut and provides the longest possible time in the vault.
Avi also appears in 2021 in The Data Contract, offering a contract to steal sensitive data from the CEO of Merryweather Security. After the player retrieves four hard drives and protects him during the upload, he completes the deal and departs.
He is portrayed by Rod Brogan.
