The Hawkmoth Bolas can be purchased in Red Dead Online at any Fence for a price of $120.00 or 5 Gold Bars .

This weapon is an exclusive item for Red Dead Online players pursuing the Bounty Hunter Role. The Bolas alternative styles unlock by purchasing the Prestigious Bounty Hunter License, and reaching the Bounty Hunter Veteran Kit (Role Rank 21).

Hawkmoth Bolas Description:

The Bounty Hunter’s Veteran Kit (Role Rank 21) gives you access to three style variants of the Bolas throwing weapon, which is perfect to tangle the legs of your bounty targets.

The Hawkmoth Bolas is only a cosmetic variation of the regular Bolas, as the Statistics are the same. It's available from the Fence.

You can carry up to 3 of these Bolas at the same time, for a total of 12 if combined with the other Bolas styles / variants available
