This weapon also appears in Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Machete can be purchased from Bunch of Tools (Washington Beach, Vice Beach), Tooled Up (North Point Mall) or Screw This (Little Havana), for a price of $100.
It becomes available after completing the mission Treacherous Swine in Story Mode.
The Machete can be found and picked up around the Vice City map (see the spawn locations in the "Appearances" section below).
