Whooping Crane

The Whooping Crane is a Moderate-sized bird of the Crane species, featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.

This animal can be hunted and plucked. Studying the Whooping Crane is required for the "Zoologist" Achievement.

Whooping Crane Details & Location:

Whooping Cranes can be found in the wetlands of Lemoyne and New Hanover. Their omnivorous diet consists of nuts, berries, seeds, and insects, as well as small birds and reptiles. The Varmint Rifle is considered to be the best weapon to take down cranes. Their feathers can be used for crafting and the carcass can be sold to traders.

The Whooping Crane yields feathers and gamey bird meat. Used in crafting and cooking or can be sold. Use a Varmint Rifle for a clean kill.
