Armored Truck Robberies

Armored Truck Robberies are a series of Freemode Missions in GTA Online, given by Lester Crest.

This is a Solo or Co-Op mode that can be played by 1 to 8 players. It is unlocked at Rank 19.

Help balance the economic scales by pilfering briefcases full of dough from corporate security transports, rerouting high-profile client’s assets across the state. These armored vehicles are purported to be impenetrable, but any trained technician knows that if you hit a piñata in the right spot with enough force, the goodies come tumbling out. Stop the trucks, steal the cash.

After being removed from GTA Online in September 2015 with the Freemode Events update, Armored Truck Robberies returned to the game in an updated format with the San Andreas Mercenaries update in July 2023.

Armored trucks can start appearing in one of ten locations in San Andreas, appearing as a blue random event dot marked as Security Van. Players can blow up the rear doors of the van with Sticky Bombs, to free a security case containing $25,000 and RP. A destroyed truck will not drop rewards.
