Espresso-2-Go!

Espresso-2-Go! is a main story mission in GTA 3, given to Claude by Asuka Kasen.

It's the 64° mission in GTA III in chronological order, and it takes place in Staunton Island. It becomes available after completing Bait.

Destory espresso stands used by the Colombian Cartel to sell SPANK.

GTA III: "Espresso-2-Go!" Walkthrough

Espresso-2-Go is a main story mission in Grand Theft Auto 3, given to the player by Asuka Kasen. The Colombian Cartel is using coffee stands as a front to sell SPANK. You have eight minutes to destroy all nine stalls that are dotted around Liberty City's landscape.

Complete Ray's Mission Strand

Before visiting Asuka at the construction site, be sure to complete Ray's mission strand. Doing so will give you access to the Rocket Launcher and exclusive access to a bulletproof Patriot. The former is unlocked after the mission Arms Shortage, and the latter after Marked Man.

Locate the Stalls

After the cutscene, you'll be tasked with destroying all nine stalls in eight minutes. However, only one is marked on your map. Instead of hunting them down one by one like the game suggests, you can cruise the streets of Liberty City to find them all, as the timer won't start until you've destroyed the first coffee stand. There are five stalls in Staunton Island, and two in both Shoreside Vale and Portland.

Destroying the Stalls

There are multiple ways you can destroy each target. You could ram them with a vehicle, or use a weapon such as grenades or a rocket launcher. Using a car to complete the job isn't effective, as you'll find yourself looking for a new ride after each stall you destroy. Grenades aren't reliable due to the lack of an aiming system. The rocket launcher is the best option, as it dishes out a lot of damage and you can aim with it. You can purchase five shells at Phil's Army Surplus for $25,000.

Beware of Your Surroundings

At this point in the game, every gang is hostile towards you, and you'll end up driving through most of their territory. The Colombian Cartel will be looking to even the score, and they're armed with powerful machine guns. The Mafia will gun you down as you enter Saint Mark's, seeking revenge for the murder of Salvatore Leone.

They are armed with powerful shotguns, and it will only take two or three hits to blow up your car. As the game lacks a bailout mechanic, you are unable to escape before it explodes, leaving you to start the mission over again.

Be Methodical

Destroying the stalls on Staunton Island first is frowned upon, as you'll chew through precious seconds trying to get from Portland to Shoreside Vale before time expires. Saving Portland for last isn't wise, either. After taking care of all the coffee stands on Shoreside and Staunton, you still run the risk of getting gunned down by the Mafia. Going through Portland first will be most effective, as you'll have wasted less time if you're gunned down.

After uncovering the location of all nine coffee stands, begin tearing them apart with your rocket launcher. Be sure to have armor, as you'll come under fire from rival gangs, and you'll be exposed upon getting out of the vehicle to destroy the coffee stands.

HINT: Having access to the bulletproof Patriot will shield you and your vehicle from the haze of bullets that are surely to be coming from all directions!

After completing the Espresso-2-Go, you're awarded with $40,000, and are also one step closer to confronting Catalina!
