The design of the Hatchet is based on a real life Fire Axe.
This weapon cannot be customized.
The Hatchet also appears in Red Dead 2.
How to get the Hatchet in GTA 5 Story Mode:
In the Story Mode of GTA V, the Hatchet can be purchased from Ammu-Nation for a price of $750.
It becomes available after completing the mission Trevor Philips Industries in Story Mode.
How to get the Hatchet in GTA Online:
The Hatchet can be purchased in GTA Online from Ammu-Nation for a price of $750.
It is available for Free for returning players that owned the original PS3 / Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto V.
